Mitch Clem let the cat out of the bag -- Silver Sprocket is publishing a book!
We will try our best to have it ready for the holidays, but it is realistically looking like an early 2008 release. I'll explain when you're older (once we know what's up). And look out for new NN2S shirts and buttons this September!
Big D And The Kids Table are touring through Europe now, and then will be embarking on a full national USA tour with Whole Wheat Bread, The AKA's and Brain Failure!!!

Bad-news: We will not be distributing Tera Melos' "Drugs To The Dear Youth" CD to stores as originally planned. Sorry about that, it is outside of our control. It might eventually be distributed by Sargent House, the management company the Melos' just joined up with. We still have a few available for mail-order.
And check out Danny Secretion singing with Ashtray!
Come back tomorrow for a major update with headlining tour dates from The Phenomenauts and Big D And The Kids Table!
The Monsters of Accordion Tour is just one week away and I need your help to spread the word.
In case you don't know, I'm being joined by three of the craziest, most entertaining solo accordion performers in North America for a five night tour of the West Coast. I have this crazy idea that people will love this and that it could grow into some kind of travelling Lollapalooza of accordion players... Maybe I am crazy. But I'd love to do this again and travel farther than just the West Coast. But for that to happen, this year needs to be a huge success.
How can you help? First, come to one of the shows if you can. All of the details about the shows (and free MP3s) are at www.monstersofaccordion.com.
Secondly, spread the word!! If you know anyone who needs more accordion in their life, please forward them this message. Or if you'd REALLY like to help (and you live near Seattle, Portland, Eugene or the Bay Area) please follow this link to handbills and show flyers to hand out and post in prominent places.
Or even if you aren't on the West Coast, you can spread some accordion love by copying the link to the image below and posting it on your Profile, on your blog, on your dog or really anywhere and link back to www.monstersofaccordion.com.
The Monsters of Accordion are: Jason Webley - Seattle, WA Corn Mo - New York, NY Geoff Berner - Vancouver, BC Duckmandu - Oakland, CA with special guests: Amy Denio, Eric Stern, Mark Growden and Kimric Smythe.
We are playing: August 21 - Seattle, WA - Fremont Abbey Arts Center August 22 - Portland, OR - The Kennedy School Gym August 23 - Eugene, OR - Sam Bond's Garage (2 shows) August 24 - San Francisco, CA - 12 Galaxies August 25 - Oakland, CA - 21 Grand
