9/25/2006: New music from River City Rebels' THE BOPPER! The new releases just won't stop! Next month we will be releasing the debut solo album from RIVER CITY REBELS front-man Daniel O'Day, also known as THE BOPPER. It will be in stores October 10th, but you can get yours early by pre-order right here. Over the past few years, The River City Rebels have become friends and touring partners with nearly every band on our roster. While this is probably going to be our most controversial partnership since Treephort, we've gotten to really know the Rebels over the years and take great pride in welcoming them to the Springman family. Their upcoming full-length will blow your mind, and this acoustic record is a welcome change of pace, more in the singer/songwriter vein, fitting in somewhere between Joe Strummer, Wilco and Bright Eyes -- check out some songs on Dan's MySpace profile. 9/20/2006: The Phenomenauts and The Toasters Dates Hot on the heels of their first national headlining tour, The Phenomenauts have announced some local shows along with ten dates in November with ska heavyweights The Toasters. Also announced is The Phenomenauts annual "Halloween Zombie Party" on October 27th, and a show the band is hosting but not playing with The Briefs, both being hosted by their Command Center in West Oakland.
